Through significant investment and growth in this segment, we’re looking for outstanding Relationship Managers to continue to build long term relationships and provide quality, holistic service and advice to our affluent consumer customers.

The role
As a Relationship with Westpac Premium, you will be part of a dedicated team of four Relationship Managers providing key points of contact for a portfolio of approximately 800 affluent customers with responsibility for their banking and wealth creation needs - and the balance sheet that goes with it. Through your great service and reputation you will delight your existing portfolio of customers, retaining their business, as well as sourcing and building relationships with new customers. You will be provided with outstanding support and inspiring leadership. You will feel nurtured at every step of the way with ongoing training and professional development in a great working environment where you'll be respected, valued and rewarded for your hard work.

The person
First and foremost you really care about customers. You will have a service ethos that puts the customer at the heart of everything you do, always acting in their best interests. To be successful in this role you ideally have experience and qualifications in lending and will have a strong track record of assisting customers with wealth creation. You will be a passionate and enthusiastic self-starter with excellent time management skills and a proven track record of building lasting customer relationships and great business partnerships.

Knowledge and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Proven track record in consumer and/or business lending 
  • Strong customer centric approach, with experience in having quality holistic needs-based discussions 
  • Ability to develop, build and maintain partnerships with customers to ensure retention and increase customer satisfaction levels
  • Solid commercial awareness to position yourself well to grow both asset and liability balance sheet
  • Strong business acumen & curiosity to help you and navigate policies & guidelines on behalf of your customer
