Working with a group of people who love what they do, enjoy the environment where they do it in and are amongst the best of the people in the industry....a good start? We're looking for an analyst who wants to work on portfolio construction, modelling and strategy - essentially, you're going to be the 'numbers person' for this asset consulting house. Anything to do with modelling, quant and strategy will come to you and the your team.
Supporting the Asset and Investment Consulting team you're role will be to provide analytical and quantitative support to key clients and work with the senior consulting team to solve modelling problems. Other stuff you'll be doing:
- Maintenance of vER Financial Models and Research Databases (MySQL);
- Asset Allocation Modelling & Research – Tactical (TAA) & Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA);
- Provision of relevant research for publication as vER reports for clients.
- Quantitative support to Fund Manager Research, Asset Consulting and Distribution teams;
- Process improvement and automation (Excel/VBA, MATLAB®)
- Produce some Investment Outlook Reports
- SAA modelling and optimisation for Australian and New Zealand retail clients.
