Your New Role

AFG Home Loans is seeking a Broker Relationship Officer with a minimum of 2 years home loans experience to work alongside their Business Relationship Manager supporting their portfolios growth.

You will be responsible for;

• Assisting AFG brokers with loans and scenarios for AFG Home Loans and its funders. This includes working with AFG’s funders, insurers, valuers and external settlement agents.
• Assisting AFG Brokers submit AFG Home Loans correctly and assist them progress deals in the system with a view of getting them successfully to settlement.
• Assisting your Business Relationship Manager by handling incoming e-mails and calls, setting up group training sessions and material and arranging appointments.
• Liaising with your Business Relationship Manager and other sales staff in your state team, keeping them informed regarding all matters related to AFG Home Loans affecting their portfolio.
• Liaising and assisting  other AFG Home Loans teams including, credit, clients services and operations to ensure successful outcomes for your brokers

Who are you

With the ability to manage multiple tasks on a daily basis, resolve issues as they arrive and offer quality service and support to our brokers and their clients the following skills and experience are required; 

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the Home Loan industry, must understand residential credit.
• Well organized with the ability to work autonomously and meet targets and deadlines.
• Reliable with an energetic, flexible attitude and customer solution focus.
• Strong attention to detail
• Likes working with mortgage brokers and their clients
