This market leading and innovative Financial services organisation invests in its people and also its technology. As a result of this a strong SAS DW Developer is required for a long term high profile project which is picking up momentum requiring key tasks to be delivered.
 
The duties are wide ranging in the variety of skills required and therefore looking for a contractor with strong PC SAS skills and BASE SAS coding skills to fill the gap in this dynamic team.
 
Initially the contract term is 6 months but there is an expectation you are someone who is willing to extend past this.
 
Key to this role will be your responsibility to understand business requirements and functional specifications, with an ability to translate business requirements into testable requirements.  In short this means you need to able to communicate with other technical team and also the wider business to grasp the idea and take it through to completion.
Attention to detail and a strong aptitude for business, data and systems analysis are also required. 
 
To be successful in securing this role for yourself you will need to clearly illustrate the following:
 

• SAS DI Studio (essential) 
• Base SAS Programming
• Development Life Cycle  experience
• Reporting Capability Development skills
• Ability to carry out Systems Testing
• Ad Hoc analysis and data cleansing as  required through  the project
• Data manipulation and the ability to identify performance issues
