This top name Financial Services provider is one of the market leaders in providing solutions for superannuation investments. Their success can also be attributed to their dedication to effective and efficient processes. Our client is looking for a Unit Registry Team Leader who can hit the ground running.
  
This role requires a driven individual with management experience and a proven ability to meet deadlines. This individual will make proactive assessments of daily deliverables and effectively allocate resources. Responsible for all escalations, this role will ensure timely and accurate processing of all documentation received from issuers, industry participants and investors.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Coordinate and identify corporate events within client specific requirements
  • Ensure transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Effectively manage and utilise resources in an efficient manner
  • Resolve escalated issues and respond to shareholder/issuer feedback
  • Monitor staff performance and work to develop staff skills and knowledge
  • Communicate business risks
  • Assist in complying with and updating technologies, practices and procedures
  • Develop internal and external relationships  
About you:
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Unit Registry from a Custodian or Fund Manager
  • Good understanding of investment markets, the investment process and funds management operations
  • Proven management/leadership skills
  • Ability to meet agreed deadlines and targets under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Willingness to contribute across all aspects of the business
  • Commercial acumen, understanding and business judgement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
