This local Stockbroker has developed a reputation second to none within a niche area committed to servicing their customers to the highest possible standard. They have become a well-respected industry player and currently have a vacancy for a Scrip Settlements Administrator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the settlement of equity and options market transactions along with processing CHESS movements, corporate actions and international security settlements. The role is primarily administrative based and will involve providing support to the wider business.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• CHESS conversions, CHESS holdings administration and managing settlement obligations
• CHESS Broker to Broker movements
• Processing and closing buy/sell contract notes
• DVP settlements
• Corporate action protections
• Deceased estate processing
• On- and off-market transfers and issuer conversions
• Options collateral management
• IPO bookings and allocations
• Processing change of customer details into various systems
• Settlement of trades with offshore custodians and brokers
• FX processing
• Corporate action processing
• Client position processing & reporting
• Answering queries from internal and external stakeholders and clients

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience with international settlement processing through a custodian (highly desired)
• GBST DCATM experience
• RG- 146 certification (highly desired)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Detailed knowledge of CHESS, Settlements, Options and Corporate Actions
• Above average interpersonal skills and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to work in teams or individually
• Problems solving, the ability to prioritise work and manage time
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
