Exciting opportunity in one of Australia’s leading charities, this role will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing the treasury investment strategy to provide sustainable capital growth while maintaining the ethical responsibilities of the organization.

Job Description reporting directly to the CEO, your duties will include:

• Design and develop the strategic investment framework
• Work closely with the CEO to manage the investment of significant cash deposits for the greater good of the organization and people they help.
• Consult with internal stakeholders to discuss and advise on process and procedures within the treasury and investment framework
• Cash position reporting
• Ad hoc analysis and project management to drive continuous business improvements
• Manage the investigations of treasury and investment details in relation to risk and/or compliance breaches

The Successful Applicant

• CFA/CA/CPA qualified, or similar
• Experience in managing the strategic investment of funds for maximum return on investment
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex financial issues including cash-flow forecasting
• Demonstrated use of procedural analysis to ensure continuous improvement
• Strong knowledge of a variety of investment platforms
• Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
