They currently have a vacancy for a Payroll Manager, who will be responsible for the payroll team and basic people operations services that are delivered via the People and Culture Shared Services unit.

In this role you will be responsible for:

•Lead the payroll teams to achieve desired service level agreements and annual goals

•Ensure the correctness, timeliness of payments in relation to industrial instruments, employment contracts, company policies and other relevant legislation

•Manage payroll vendors, and key stakeholders, including liaising with auditors

•Oversee and monitor annual projects such as the payment of incentives, external regulatory issues and internal audit findings

•Support the embedding of payroll integration, people operations, and improved service delivery solutions into BAU

•Contribute to the development and management of an annual business plan

To be considered for this role, you will have:

•Extensive background in payroll.

•4-6 years of Payroll Shared Services management experience and Payroll qualified.

•Knowledge of legislative requirements involving PAYG, FBT, payroll tax and EEO principles.

•Sound understanding of Industrial Award/Enterprise Agreements.

•Strong leadership ability, excellent communication and well developed interpersonal skills.

•Numeric accuracy, strong attention to detail and advanced understanding and use of excel spreadsheets.

•Experience working with PayGlobal, ADP, Premier Payroll is desirable but not mandatory

•Relevant Tertiary qualification in Finance.
