Our Financial Planning firm is looking for a motivated and experienced Client Service Officer to join our growing team.

We are a medium sized financial planning business based in Hobart and pride ourselves on helping our clients achieve the financial security and lifestyle they desire through the accumulation and management of wealth.

As a part of our team, you will provide administrative support to our team of Financial Planners and quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • On-boarding and maintenance of clients including preparation of new client agreements and other applications;
  • Lodging of new client business, including completing and submitting paperwork and contacting relevant companies to ensure timely completion of work;
  • Develop relationships with clients and respond to their calls and emails in a timely manner;
  • Follow up any outstanding documentation from clients and fund managers;
  • Manage client data on Xplan and ensure client files (both electronic and hard copy) are maintained in accordance with our requirements;
  • Provide back-up support to our receptionist by answering incoming calls and greeting clients who come into the office.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Excellent customer service and client relationship management skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;
  • Experience in the financial services industry and use of XPlan (preferred);
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and maintain high standards during busy periods;
  • The ability to work well in a team environment and to contribute to a positive team culture;
  • Previous experience using the Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Drive and a motivation to achieve individual and business goals.
