About the role

As a Home & Personal Lender, known internally as a Customer Relationship Manager, you will play an integral role in driving consumer lending growth via business development activities.  The Customer Relationship Manager also works in conjunction with the Branch Manager to support the team to meet individual and group goals, specifically around sales and referring new business.   

This opportunity would suit someone with a strong desire to progress their career in the banking and finance industry.  We're looking for someone who can build our business now and into the future, who we can develop into our next Mobile Relationship Manager or Business Development Manager.  For this reason, it is essential that the successful applicant isn't afraid to ask for business; you will be ambitious, resourceful and motivated to succeed. 

This is a full time, permanent position based in Metro North, Adelaide supporting the lending portfolios of multiple branches. 

About you

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience in Consumer Lending
• Drive business growth through customer acquisition and quality referrals
• Have a demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales results
• Demonstrate the people skills to succeed in a leadership and mentoring role
• Be able to assess customer needs and tailor practical lending solutions
• Ensure that the quality of lending and credit management of the branch portfolio is maintained to required standards
• Effectively communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone
• Be rewarded by developing relationships and getting involved with the communities you service
• Have an organised approach to managing volumes of work
