Your New Role
As a Mortgage Advisor, you'll play a key role in our retail branch network, by getting to know your customers and delivering exceptional service, while offering sound, specialist mortgage advice. You'll work closely with our branch and credit teams, making sure our members have the advice and support they need to make one of the most exciting purchases they'll ever make - their home.
 
This role can be based at Cerberus or Victoria Barracks branch.
 
What you will be doing? 

• Through quality conversations, achieve set lending, deposit and insurance targets; while supporting staff in the daily running of branch.
• Proactively identify new business opportunities, build and maintain referral networks in the Defence and wider community.
• Actively promote our award winning products and services.
• Growing the mortgage lending portfolios and cross-sales performance to deliver growth.
• Conduct Home Loan interviews, providing detailed information on process, products and affordability.
• Assessing Home Loans, Personal Loans and Credit Card applications for recommendation.
• Providing excellent end to end quality member experience to existing and potential members.
• Travel to other branches will be required 

About You
We are looking for motivated individuals, who enjoy making change happen and helping our members with their financial needs. Delivering exceptional customer service is the tip of the iceberg. A "Can Do and Will do attitude is a must.  A "Willingness to Learn' and the ability to adapt in a fast paced environment is the key to success in this role. To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the below key attributes and experience:

•  Minimum 2 years of residential mortgage lending experience
• Strong customer service experience essential
• Previous experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets
• You will come to us with a passion for getting results, positive attitude and self-motivation!
• Tier 2 accreditation or / and Cert IV or Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Brokering - advantageous

Probity check
As we are an Authorised Deposit Taking Institution there is a requirement to complete the standard range of Credit, Police and Bankruptcy checks prior to commencement of employment.
