Excellent contract opportunity within a busy Custody Settlements Team of a Global Investment Bank. Based in Melbourne CBD.

Your key responsibilities:

Facilitating settlements
Train across all settlement functions
Handling queries and issues from brokers, internal and external stakeholders
Following up unmatched trades
Reconciling general ledgers for funding
Cash movements
Ensuring compliance

Your skills and experience:

1-3 years' Equity Settlements experience
Experience with custody settlement systems and/or CHESS
Experience with reconciliations
Proficient in Microsoft suite including Outlook and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Team player, happy to assist others where required to meet cut off times
Strong attention to detail
