- Responsible for completing SOA's, IPR's and ROA's
- Ensure compliance is adhered to
- Knowledge of Coin software
- Completed Advice documents are produced and delivered to Planners in a manner that supports achieving our vision of Plan Help Achieve.
- Discuss plan strategies with Financial Planners.
- Analyse information to provide an accurate plan.
- Develop plan strategies into a compliant document.
- Ensure the required information is at hand and specific to the clients needs as provided by the Financial Planner.
- Show meticulous attention to plan presentation and details.
- SOA’s are produced on a consistent and timely basis to meet client demand and Planner expectations.
- Self-motivation to achieve individual and team targets.
- Full integration of software, developing templates and enhancing operational performance:
- Full integration of Financial Planning software (expertise in use, skills up to date and evidenced via skills matrix)
- Continually develop financial plan templates/library for productive and efficient work practices.
- Input to team meetings/projects as required on how to improve the business or value add.
- Compliance – minimise Provident’s exposure to litigation, reputational risk and other forms of risk/loss
- Ensure all SOA’s are vetted as required and compliant.
- Complete Peer Review Compliance Checks as required.
- Complete Post Paraplanning Checklist for all plans.
- Ensure Compliance Registers updated as required.
- Maintain relevant and up-to-date technical skills and knowledge of the financial planning industry:
- Attendance at Professional Development Days as required.
- Personal development and training on technical and industry issues.
- Keep up to date with current financial market trends and theory
- Assist in identifying and providing training to relevant staff on products, process, compliance and software e.g. modelling, pyramid etc.
- Prepare adhoc risk quotes and other illustrations as required.
- Attend strategy meetings and contribute accordingly.
