Our client, a pioneering banking giant, is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst (SQL Server Developer) to join their Sydney team on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract.
 
Responsibilities;

• Business Analysis; Build and enhance the reconciliation process
• Gather, organise and synthesize large amounts of data from various sources
• Development/migration of the Group's reconciliations onto Accurate & provide support for existing reconciliations
• Recommend changes to processes oversee execution of any enhancements made
• Management of the various applications on behalf of Group Finance
• Complete project work deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability
• Stakeholder engagement at all levels 

Successful candidates will display;

• 4 - 6 years Finance Business Analysis experience in Banking / Financial Services 
• Relevant degree & professional qualification 
• Proficient at writing SQL scripts (SQL server 2012 and/ or 2014 + preferred)
• Strong Systems Development Life Cycle experience (Agile methodology)
• Hands-on experience automating processes involving large data sets
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Strong understanding and experience  of Accounting / Reconciliation concepts and finance systems
