Your new company

Your Digital Fraud Detection Team lies within the wider Group Fraud Management Services (GFMS), who share a vision of providing safe banking and delighting customers through Fraud prevention, detection and response. Your team are responsible for detection and assessment of digital and mobile fraud incidents, fraudulent credit applications and counter fraud. Act as role model to your team by delivering improvement initiatives, mitigation of risks and compliance, boosting morale and strengthening quality of customer service.

Your new role

  • Lead the Online Fraud Team by ensuring resources and processes are implemented to mitigate risk of fraud in a 24/7 rotating shift environment
  • Comply with the Group’s policies and Statement of Professional practice to maintain high moral and ethical standard
  • Manage resources to assess all incidents within agreed timeframes
  • Manage the planning, execution and completion of all monitoring services in relation to the Group's policy, GS & A standards, relevant industry standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Provide the required assessment and investigation of events in accordance with agreed Service level Agreements (SLAs) as per Customer Value Proposition (CVP)
  • Timely response and escalation of issues / risks identified within specified SLAs
  • Demonstrate intuition and proactivity in the upstream and downstream of processes to improve workflow within the team
  • Maintain an up-to-date focus on financial crime, security industry related trends and emerging issues, and share knowledge obtained
  • Accept and provide coaching/training to your staff regularly with clearly defined outcomes and action plans
  • Build and maintain a high standard of service to all internal/external clients
  • Undertake additional duties outside of your BAU including Continuous Improvement initiatives and Project work.
  • Ensure collation and security of necessary information and evidence to enable effective assessment of incidents and work
  • Identify , escalate and provide coaching to address deficiencies in process and behaviour

Your skillset and experience

  • Must have at least one year experience in a managerial position within banking and financial services
  • Managerial experience within Fraud is highly desirable
  • Minimum two years industry experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills, communication skills, accuracy and problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility to potentially work outside core business hours
