We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Salary Packaging Officer to join our team. You will be a key link between Beyond Bank and various Salary Packaging organisations and will be responsible for assisting to manage our Salary Packaging product and associated operational and compliance activities.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key administration personnel from Salary Packaging organisations
- Gaining a strong understanding of the customer base and liaising with staff to set up and support the Salary Packaging team
- Developing and managing the implementation of Salary Packaging Scorecards, service level agreements and sales and lead generation reporting
- Responding to queries, requests and complaints, whilst delivering consistent and reliable service
- Develop new business leads and sales opportunities to achieve community program sales objectives
- Coordinating the administrative operations relating to memberships, including, coordinating and uploading new memberships, updating records, logistics coordination, new organisation on boarding, issues management and opening new accounts
- Assisting with operational management of the Salary Packaging product including, ATO compliance, fees and charges management, portfolio management and reporting
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement around work processes
- Work with the Community Development Team to engage community organisations and their employees and increase awareness of our salary packaging product
You will have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties
- Proven experience in initiating contact and building relationships
- High-level administration and coordination abilities
- Experience in managing the interests of internal and external administration staff
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
- Thorough attention to detail
- Experience in using the Microsoft office suite especially Excel
- A commitment to the principle of mutuality
- A strong understanding of the banking/finance and/or salary packaging industries
