Chase Edwards is an established financial services company, specialising in wealth creation, home loans, investments, diversification strategies, insurance and expert advice.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planner to join our team, this position will be based in our Swansea NSW office located in the Newcastle region.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Financial Planner you will utilise your exceptional client management skills and previous financial services industry experience to grow the client portfolio across financial planning strategies and insurance.
You will work closely with our Senior Consultants providing advice solutions to our clients with a key focus on Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF).
This position is primarily Monday to Friday, however, we do conduct Saturday meetings with our clients to provide them with flexibility to suit their busy lifestyles. In return we provide flexibility around your working hours.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
- Self-motivated and accountable
- Min 2 years experience working within the Financial Planning Industry
- Team Player - willingness to coach and mentor Financial Planning Assistant
- Client focused and results driven
- Professionally presented and an effective communicator
- Full unrestricted Drivers Licence and reliable car
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- full client service management from initial introduction to understanding their financial objectives
- providing strategic financial planning and investment advice
- servicing, retaining and delivering solutions to meet client needs
- developing and maintaining relationships and working on diversification strategies with our internal and external business and referral partners
- new business development, including proactive outbound calling from our extensive existing data base
- performing day-to-day client service advisory activities
- manage administration and file management
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- experience and established as a financial planner with experience in developing and presenting SOA and portfolio management
- must be qualified with Diploma of Financial Planning or Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning (preferred)
- experience in Superannuation/SMSF strategies
- experience with XPLAN or similar software
- minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- demonstrated knowledge of current legislation and industry and market updates
