ITEC Health/Safe Pathways is a leading provider of health care, with offices throughout the NT, QLD, NSW and SA. ITEC Health/Safe Pathways provides total care packages for Holistic, Mental Health and Disabilities including acute and non-acute, Home Care and Residential Care with highly trained Support Workers and Carers. ITEC Health/Safe Pathways offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced Assets Manager, on a full-time basis, to join their team in at their head office in Cairns.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- The coordination, strategic management, development and compliance of the organisations asset base.
- Implement continuous improvement, with the ability to work autonomously and/or to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of the organisation and its function and developing plans for the assets in your control.
- Identify and provide solutions to areas that need improving to ensure best practice for operations.
- Create correspondence, coordinate documentation, and maintain data for reporting and control functions.
To be successful for this position, you will need the following:
- Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
- 3 years’ experience in a similar or relevant position
- Exceptional communication skills including negotiation and consulting, with the ability to write and present reports.
- Excellent problem solving, research, conceptual and analytical skills, while implementing practical and forward thinking operational plans and solutions.
- High organisational skills including time management and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to interpret contractual and legislative documents and present these to a diverse audience.
- High level of computer skills and various online platforms including databases in the finance sector.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Indigenous culture, and barriers faced by remote areas.
