Our state based Fulfilment teams, in conjunction with the National Post Approval team, support our business customers and bankers through the end-to-end lending cycle. They play an integral role in assisting customers achieve their personal and business goals.

As a Business Credit Analyst, your accountabilities will vary from credit writing to approvals and post approval activities. You will complete business lending submissions in support of customer loan applications and be accountable for thorough financial and risk analysis.

Your day to day responsibilities will also involve:

• Completion of file preparation for new and existing customer lending requests to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
• Detailed analysis of customer financial information, including tax returns and financial statements to assess ability to re-pay.
• Inbound quality checks on lending submissions, confirming they meet the minimum requirements to proceed to credit writing.
• Proactive risk management to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and meet all policy and compliance requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Proven financial analysis experience involving balance sheets and profit and loss statements for business and personal applicants.
• Ability to conduct financial analysis and interpret basic financial statements
• A basic understanding of credit structures to assist with the understanding and completion of credit submissions.
• Experience in providing outstanding customer service in a high volume and target orientated environment.
• Excellent time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and problem solving

In addition to these skills and attributes, it is preferred but not essential that you have completed, or are working towards a tertiary qualification in a Banking and Finance, Accounting or related discipline, and have exposure to Business Lending, Home Loan and ecL processing.
