Bring your strong interest and relevant experience in financial markets to support our full service brokerage team for a 6 month full time maximum term contract. The position is available immediately.
You’ll be responsible for the reconciliation of trades as well as assessing and reporting the appropriate remediation of any discrepancies. You will be working directly alongside the Brokerage and the Client Services Teams to undertake a range of support tasks as well as fielding ad-hoc internal and external broker queries. Working in and adhering to a Risk & Compliance culture, you’ll be responsible for the navigation of manual and electronic receivables and payables processes and associated systems and platforms.
You’ll need to be able to demonstrate a stable work history with previous futures and or brokerage experience, particularly from within an institutional environment. You pride yourself upon being a clear and effective communicator in person, on the phone and via email and you’re proficient in MS Excel and Outlook. A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or an Economics discipline will be highly-regarded. Above all, you will hold strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, have meticulous attention to detail and possess the ability to work to strict deadlines.
