About the role (but not limited to):

Reporting to the Senior Planning and Commercial Manager, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading the delivery of divisional results to Group, financial performance tracking & reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering with our senior executives.  The role will have one direct report.

We are seeking a person with demonstrated commercial experience delivering value in a FP&A Manager role to join our Sydney Commercial Finance Team of seven supporting the Gaming Operation and Overheads functions.  You will be tasked to provide reporting, build relationships and be able to support and influence others to help drive informed operational decisions.

Key duties will include:

• Defining, reporting on and interpreting key financial and non – financial measures for the Gaming and overhead functions
• Identify and recommend business improvement initiatives using trends, insights and influence that help deliver performance to budget and/or targets
• Streamline standard reporting that is relevant and reliable to track progress of actuals against plans and provides the key callouts for variances
• Develop and implement a rolling forecast framework to align with the Sydney and Group priorities
• Managing the reporting, forecast and budget delivery of the division to Group
• Leading and managing the preparation of the annual budget for Gaming and Overheads
• Provide and drive insightful analysis and commercial decision support including business cases
• Prepare business case modelling for major capital projects with benefit analysis
• Engaging with the business to build business knowledge and understanding of issues, opportunities and their implications for business plans, budgets and long-term forecasts

Our ideal candidate:

• Be CA/ CPA qualified or possess a tertiary qualification in a similar related discipline
• Have at least 5 years commercial experience business partnering in a similar role
• Possess extensive financial and planning experience and exposure to a large / ASX listed Commercial environment will help see success in this role.
• Be a strategic thinker who has a solutions mindset with demonstrated experience to influence a solution
• You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you can work autonomously and manage a varied workload proactively
• Extensive experience influencing Senior Management
• Ability to articulate the bigger picture
• System experience with TM1, Excel, Cognos and or Oracle will be highly desired

This is a strategic role where you will be provided with full empowerment to shape the direction support the elevation of this function alongside working with an experienced Manager who will coach and mentor you through your Star journey.
