A Leading Financial Services Institution has an opportunity for an individual who has strong sales and customer service experience. As a Retentions Specialist you will find creative solutions for an existing customer base across the Mortgages team. You will act as an intermediary between the business and client, proactively following-up on retention leads and making key contributions towards individual and team targets.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide an exceptional client experience when receiving and/ or initiating calls to Advisers or Clients
• Respond promptly in providing information to enquiries
• Maintain knowledge of technical aspects of core and specialised retail products
• Identify leads and solutions for Advisers and Clients
• Identifying missing, fraudulent or incorrect information in account requests
• Identifying gaps in current processes and exploring sales opportunities as and when they arise
• Accurately record information for transactions in customer relationship management systems
• Effective management of all stakeholders (both Internal and External)
• Maintain the integrity of relationships with Advisers and Clients

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• Tertiary Qualifications in a Commerce or Business 
• RG146 qualifications desirable
• Experience Sales and Customer Service
• Genuine interest and understanding in Mortgages
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop your knowledge
• Team orientated individual with a determination to achieve or exceed team targets
• Highly articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
