Hickinbotham, SA's largest and longest established building and development group, is seeking a high calibre Sales Manager to join our KeyStart Finance arm, which is backed by the Australian Finance Group (AFG), the largest distributor of wholesale mortgage finance in Australia.
This senior, hands on role will be pivotal in ensuring the company achieves its growth strategy and targets through direct management of our commission-based sales team and identifying new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with hiring, developing, coaching and mentoring a high performing solution-based lending team capable of meeting the needs of clients
- Meet agreed personal and team lending targets and maintain strong relationships
- Keep abreast of and assist brokers and internal staff with any issues in relation to loan applications
- Ensure operational and compliance activities are completed on time and according to agreed quality standards
- Meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations
- Work with the Senior Leadership team to firm up and execute our continued growth strategy
Along with being results driven and have a track record of leading a team of brokers, it is essential that you have the following attributes:
- A proven track record of high-level performance in a similar role
- A minimum of 3 years’ residential lending experience and 5 years’ management experience
- A proven sales history of successful residential home loans with a banking or mortgage broking background
- Certificate IV or higher in Finance and Mortgage Broking
- Accreditation with major lenders (desirable)
- An engaging personality and a commitment to delivering a level of service that will exceed customer’s expectations
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
- Be driven and self-motivated to exceed targets and strive for excellence
