Market Risk Manager

The Market Risk Manager reports into the Head of Market Risk and is instrumental in leading a small team to ensure that CUA and its subsidiaries have a robust risk management framework.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in second line risk oversight, development and review of frameworks which includes liquidity, interest rate, counterparty credit and/or financial risk. You will be a strong communicator with previous experience in writing policies and board papers.

In this role you will work with the business to actively refine and further develop our risk management framework and continue to embed the three lines of defence model through coaching, mentoring and supporting your team and the wider business.

Essentials…

• 5 years’ experience in a risk leadership role within the finance industry;
• Comprehensive understanding of the three lines of defence model;
• Strong communication skills with experience writing policy and board papers;
• University degree in relevant discipline;
• Ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running.
