We support a flexible workplace and have a collaborative team environment. You will be part of a professional team in Sydney and gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients and products.

Your new role:

As the Credit Analyst, you will be required to manage credit risk predominately for our Dealer Finance business, centred on consumer secured lending along with small ticket commercial lending.

Further, you will hold a personal Delegated Approval Authority (“DAA”) for transactions up to an agreed credit limit (depending on your experience) and will be involved with the preparation and recommendation of Credit Applications for approval values which exceed your personal DAA.

You will have strong stakeholder management skills as it is important to build and maintain strong working relationships with the dealership networks.

Specifically you will:

  • Preparing / recommending submissions to the relevant Credit Risk Officer for transactions above own personal DAA

  • Identifying and providing solutions within credit policy / procedures

  • Provide timely turnaround of all applications within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

About you:

As an experienced credit analyst, you will demonstrate previous consumer and commercial lending analysis, preferably from an asset financing background. Demonstrating previous underwriting experience gained in a retail lending environment, you will possess;

  • Proven influencing, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional communication skills – with ability to explain credit decisions to internal / external stakeholders
  • Previously held related personal DAA – based on thorough understanding of all aspects of consumer and commercial lending

Naturally, you will possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail, coupled with your ability to multi-task and liaise with various stakeholders. Your proven analytical skills will be complimented by your ability to thrive in a fast paced and demanding environment.
