Due to an internal promotion, this International Bank is looking for a Credit Risk Executive to join their credit policy team. This Bank is one of Australia’s leading providers of financial services and is committed to investing in its employees, by offering career progression and incentives.
Your new role
As a Credit Risk Executive, you will serve as an adviser and assist with the governance of credit policy applicable to both the Institutional Banking and Markets and Business and Private Banking business units. In the role you will:
- Play a key role in both regulatory and business driven change
- Support and drive cultural themes, priorities and areas of focus for the Risk Management Group and I&BB.
- Demonstrate a broad understanding across all facets of the Group’s SME, corporate, institutional and Financial Institution customer segments.
- Support a project team in a comprehensive redesign of the existing credit policy framework.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant, you will have a strong understanding of credit, market and operational risk, and extensive experience in a credit-related role within financial services. You will have excellent analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to drive change. A tertiary qualification in either finance or economics would be highly regarded, but is not mandatory.
