My client is one of the leading mortgage providers in Australia who are about to engage in a large business transformation program. If you are someone who likes to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty whilst wearing multiple hats throughout a project, this could be the ideal role for you. Domain knowledge in mortgages is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess feasibility and initiate projects
• Definition of project deliverables and development of project plans
• Identification and management of interdependencies between projects
• Estimation, management and realisation of benefits linked to deliverables and plans
• Development and management of budgets
• Identification and management of issues and risks
• Development and management of project tracking processes and status reporting
• Detailed analysis and reporting of what was delivered against plan (predominantly scope and time)
• Management of governance committees and stakeholder meetings
• Development and management of customised change plans across projects for different stakeholder groups
• Development and management of project communications, including PowerPoint presentations
• Subject matter expertise in banking reporting tools and process improvement or projects that span people, process and technology will be highly regarded

Criteria:

• Flexible to change with the changing needs of the program

• Practical and hands-on approach to Project Management
• Works quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality
• Positive, enthusiastic, self-confident and committed
• 5 years experience minimum in similar role, ideally financial services or blue chip commercial
• 12+ month programme of work
