Our client is an iconic, listed Australian business that continues to have an active M&A and business development focus. As part of a small, highly credentialed team you will enjoy access to the Executive team and will work across the Group on a variety of projects.
Your role will involve managing group portfolio restructuring projects, executing M&A deals including leading commercial negotiations and structuring and working with senior operational management teams on the development of growth strategies.You will also assist in the preparation of presentations to the Board around the existing portfolio and potential divestments, acquisitions and growth strategies.
Successful applicants will have gained 7+ years experience of transactional M&A in either a global investment bank of big 4 accounting firm or will have worked in private equity or similar investing capacity. Complementing your transactional experience will be first class communication and presentation skills and an ability to adopt a business partnering approach whilst providing commercial insights and advice across various levels of the business.
