About the role
You will be part of an existing Agribusiness team and will manage and grow a broker portfolio of agribusiness clients.
Using your business development and relationship management skills, you will provide financial advisory services, fully integrated financial solutions and risk management for customers. You will ensure success through understanding our client's unique businesses, communicating effectively, making timely decisions, utilising your strong commercial acumen and driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generate business growth opportunities through existing broker/customer relationships
- Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
- Utilise your networks within pre-farmgate and post-farmgate local markets
- Utilise a structured sales approach to build and leverage relationships with specialists
- Implement annual business plans for your customer portfolio
- Prepare and submit business lending proposals
Experience
- Strong business development and relationship management skills
- Passion and understanding of agribusiness and farm management practices
- Extensive experience as professional banker
- Experience in credit management/assessment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded
