We are currently recruiting a rare opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk Insights Analyst with a leading financial institution. The role will allow the successful candidate to develop bespoke, greenfield analytical solutions which drive better lending practices for the bank.
Accountabilities
- Develop credit risk strategies and solutions utilising large transactional datasets
- Innovate and solve complex problems that drive better credit risk management practices/decisions
- Work with product & marketing teams to ensure a credit risk focus is being factored into business decisions
- Use advanced analytics to deliver high quality insights and recommendations that support responsible consumer lending
The successful candidate will have;
- A degree in a quantitative discipline - Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science
- Ideally programming skills in SAS & SQL - however other programming skills will be considered (R, Python)
- Ideally 2+ years commercial analytics experience in an insights or reporting function.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Driven and hungry to learn - candidates with experience competing in Kaggle competitions (or any other analytics competition) are highly sort after
