My client is a diversified investment company and leading provider of financial, investments and funds management services in Australia. With its local expertise and strong global connections the company brings together the best of both worlds and is able to provide clients with top quality investment solutions. Due to their Sydney expansion, I am currently recruiting a challenging and rewarding Group Financial Analyst role.
Description
- Set up and implement management reporting for the Group, enabling Executive Management to make well-informed commercially astute decisions
- Develop financial models for listed and unlisted sub-groups of the company
- Support the CFO in developing and reviewing feasibilities, financial budgets forecasts and re-forecasts
- Develop initiatives and policies that support financial growth and working alongside the CFO to identify performance metrics for each entity
- Explore different investment opportunities and draw up investment presentations for stakeholders
- Provide ad-hoc financial due diligence including market research and analysis in new business acquisitions
- Support the CFO in managing share investment portfolios
- Help manage the Dataroom and external due diligence processes
Profile
- CFA or equivalent qualifications in financial analysis is a key requirement of the role; a CPA or CA would be an added value
- Minimum working experience of 7 years in a similar position, preferably in property, energy, or infrastructure
- In-depth experience in developing and interpreting financial models as well as financial feasibility reports
- Advanced skills in financial literacy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate analysis to business development and opportunities
- Experience in using Bloomberg
- Willingness to travel to Central Asia and China
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin
