About the role

We are looking for a demonstrated people leader to continue to drive and implement our retail strategy throughout the Northern Territory region.   Yes, you will get to travel to some of the most beautiful parts of the Territory, but your key role will be leadership first and foremost. To put it bluntly, if you can't inspire people, look away…now. Branch Managers will report to you and will look to you for inspiration, experience and strategies to grow the book, enhance the customer experience and develop capability within their teams.   The NT teams will need a successful business leader who can uphold the values that form the partnership between the community and the Bank.

This role also incorporates a significant Regional Community Manager component for the Northern Territory region.  This involves actively managing and building strong relationships with Community Bank® company boards. You will be a primary conduit between Community Bank® Boards and our State office. Ultimately the goal is to work together on strategic outcomes for both the Bank and Community Bank® networks which will translate into business development and sustainable growth.

Preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Advanced business development skills.
• Proven relationship & network building expertise
• Leadership of diverse and geographically disparate teams.
• Influence and inspiration
• Well established understanding of Branch Risk and Compliance procedures
• Formal qualification in finance/business or equivalent experience
• Branch Manager experience would be advantageous but not essential
