The Corporate Actions Advisor and Senior Advisor works within the Corporate Actions Team. This team supports Domestic and International Nominee Services and Primary Market placements and IPOs.

Reporting into the Corporate Actions Manager, your primary responsibilities will include the research and processing of voluntary and mandatory Corporate Actions.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

• The day to day reconciliation and processing of dividends and other corporate action events
• Monitoring and notifying clients of corporate action events
• Work with the team and business stakeholders to ensure client instructions are processed in a timely manner
• Liaise with clients on queries and investigations
• Assist with various projects associated with corporate actions
• Accurately capture issues in a timely manner and in accordance with the control environment
• You may be required to assist with other service offerings within the team on an adhoc basis
• Any other corporate actions or broking related activities allocated to you

Requirements:

• Preference for a Bachelors Degree or similar in an appropriate discipline.
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a finance related role.
• Have a working understanding of Equities markets and financial transactions processes in Australia.
• Be able to identify, investigate and resolve issues across the Corporate Actions area.
• Have high attention to detail, excellent time management skills, the ability to work under pressure or to tight deadlines
• A high level of communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to operate in a small team environment.
