Detail information about job Investment Associate. Terms and conditions vacancy

  • Integrated Multi-Family Office and UHNW Wealth Manager
  • Development of Complex and Holistic Investment Strategies
  • Reporting to Head of Investment Research

Our client is a leading multi-faceted, integrated multi-family office and wealth manager servicing Australia’s ultra-high net worth community, including family strategy planning, investment planning, succession planning, estate planning, M&A, philanthropy and child development planning. They are looking to hire an Investment Associate to work directly with the Head of Investment Research in developing complex investment strategies for the firm’s UHNW (generally $100MM+) client base.

The successful individual needs to be highly investment savvy and technically competent, whilst also having the confidence and assurance to present, explain and reason investment ideas to clients, and have the emotional intelligence to handle client questions, queries and concerns with sensitivity and appreciation of the individual client’s overall situation – financial, emotional, personal, familial, etc.

You will also need to have the enterprise, resourcefulness and open-mindedness to originate your own potential new investment ideas – which can come from anywhere. You must be able to identify, assess, diligence and communicate investment ideas to a comprehensive, first-rate level. Most importantly, you must be a self-starter – capable of using your own initiative on a consistent basis.

You may come from an asset consultancy, superannuation fund, high net wealth manager, family office, or another similar business, most likely with several years of experience in the industry. A CFA, CAIA or other relevant industry qualification (or working towards) is an advantage. If you are a smart, technical, creative, and diligent analyst, and also thrive on building meaningful client relationships, please do apply or contact us for more information.

You must have Australian working rights to apply for this role.
