ABOUT WA SUPER

WA Super is a not for profit, industry fund that manages $3.6bn in retirement savings for over 60,000 Western Australians and 4,000 local businesses. Originally established to service Local Government employees, WA Super is now available to all West Australians.

WA Super offers expert knowledge of superannuation as well as flexible choices and low fees, so that each member can tailor their super to their own needs and plan for the retirement they want.

Unlike some other super funds, WA Super isn’t run to make a profit for shareholders. Our goal is to help members achieve their retirement dream.

Duties

  • Proactively identifies business focussed systems and process improvements;
  • Prepares comprehensive business requirements and, process and procedure documentation;
  • Innovatively identifies efficient solutions in consultation with business and technical partners;
  • Liaises closely with development teams and acts as the conduit between the business and technical teams;
  • Plans and conducts system and process testing
  • Assists in the implementing of software solutions and associated process changes; and
  • Adheres to WA Super’s Project Management Framework.

You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • An analytical mindset, be a confident self-starter who can work independently;
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar role;
  • Prior exposure to and an understanding of business process re-engineering;
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in problem solving;
  • Comprehensive understanding of and experience in the systems development lifecycle and Project Management methodologies;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Experience with Superannuation and Superannuation industry software are highly regarded.
