This diversified institutional fund manager operates with a progressive agenda and a unique approach. Due to increased market activity the firm is seeking an Associate Director to join the Credit Risk Mgt team, providing in-depth credit analysis and execution on a wide range of investments across a variety of asset classes and investment styles.

Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk, you will work closely with the various specialist product and investment teams, partnering them through the transaction lifecycle, conducting due diligence, and assisting in structuring and execution across the relevant transaction areas – including hi-yield debt, structured credit, LBO and asset-backed securities. You will be charged with the analysis of counterparties and transactions, effectively communicating the risk perspective to internal stakeholders. In addition, you will also review existing limits and trading conditions associated with particular counterparties and portfolio risks as market conditions change, and ensure adequate frameworks are in place for new products. 

Tertiary qualified with a business, accounting or finance related degree and be an experienced credit risk professional (4-10 years), within the disciplines above and requisite specialisations. It is expected that you have gained your skills within a commercial or investment bank, non-bank financier, or fund manager. Your strong knowledge of credit risk analysis – covering LBO, M&A, securitisation, ratings, real estate and investment grade credit - loan management systems, industry practices, lending products, parameters, and documentation will be critical to your success in building and managing this growth initiative.
