The Enterprise Services Finance team supports the Enterprise Services Business Unit with speciality advice on financial management.
Your team’s primary roles is to develop and deliver meaningful insights that help driver better business performance. This will include the identification of cost efficiency measures, providing objective analysis of the operations and underlying trends that may represent emerging issues. You will also provide guidance and advice to the business leaders on the financial performance of the IS business, the financial plans and forecasts and the financial impacts of change initiatives
Do work that matters
Your responsibilities are not limited to but include;
- Providing business partnering to the Infrastructure Services (“IS”) platform which includes the network, telecommunications, compute, cloud, data centres and perimeter security. The IS platform also contains major strategic ExCo initiatives.
- Supporting the business by providing customer service in form of financial services and decision support. Effective financial control plays a significant part in this role.
- Supporting the flow of finance work on your portfolio by providing timely and relevant financial information and insights and analysis in support of managing the performance of the business.
- Assist in creating and operating planning and forecasting models and providing driver based metricated analysis in support of the planning and rolling forecast processes.
- Provide information and analysis to support financial evaluation of change initiatives related to the strategic direction of the business.
- Helping the business optimise performance and achieve performance targets, including active support for and involvement in continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
- Degree qualification
- Appropriate professional qualifications (ie. accounting qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Experience in finance or operations functions would be highly advantageous
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and business partner with colleagues to optimise business performance
- Planning or budgeting experience is not essential but highly desirable
