Senior Credit Analyst
Join our Specialised Lending Credit team as a Senior Credit Analyst and directly impact our efforts to increase market share.
Joining our Corporate Asset Finance Group (CAF), you will focus on financing a broad range of assets including motor vehicles and plant and equipment as well as our strategically aligned developing areas in the commercial non-motor vehicle space.
Leveraging your previous analyst experience, you will assess new finance opportunities for transactions across a range of financial products and other various asset categories ranging from $150k to over $5m within agreed SLA’s. By utilising your impeccable communication skills, you’ll be a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders (Sales and Introducers), providing clear instructional guidance on information requirements, decisions and credit appetite. Finally, your previous experience with people management will give you the opportunity to coach and mentor junior team members as well as give you exposure to other credit departments within our Bank.
As an experienced banker or senior credit analyst with sound financial analysis skills, preferably within the Asset Finance industry, you enjoy managing meaningful business relationships and using your analytical approach to make commercially sound decisions. Your previous equipment finance experience as well as dealing with SME’s and mid-large corporate deals would also be highly regarded.
Your strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to explain credit decisions in a professional and timely manner will set you up for success. You also have a thorough understanding of commercial lending practices and have strong financial analysis skills, including some exposure to large/complex transactions.
