Our client is looking for an experienced payroll manager, who is a creative problem solver and able to manage through complex details.The key purpose of the role is to ensure that all employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner and that the client remains in compliance with all payroll taxation requirements.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Lead payroll operations including, maintenance of employee records and payroll processing, to include new hires, terminations, pay or status changes, tax deductions etc.
• Ensures accurate calculation and process of payroll
• Act as the SME and provide advice to stakeholders on Payroll strategies, policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures
• Lead, train and manage a team of 2 payroll officers to achieve desired business outcomes
• Works closely with other internal teams to deliver compiled data from a wide variety of sources for reporting purposes.

The successful candidate should have:
• 8+ years experience in managing payroll with strong knowledge of awards
• Experience in SAP HR/Payroll systems
• Experience managing high volume payroll processing
• Proven team management skills
• Proficient in MS Office (intermediate-level or above Excel skills are required).
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
• Exceptional attention to detail, advanced organization and time management skills
• Flexibility with the desire to meet challenges in a growth environment
• Previous experience in shared services or offshoring environment is preferred
