Robert Half are recruiting for a Payroll Officer to join an organisation based in Melbourne’s City Fringe. The company has a friendly and laid back culture and are looking to add to an experienced Payroll Officer to their Finance team. The Role

Reporting to the General Manager - Finance Services, the responsibilities of the Payroll Officer will include:

• Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll using Chris21

• Timely and accurate record keeping of payroll transactions

• Processing superannuation, payroll tax and worker’s compensation

• Assist in the preparation of employment agreements for new starters

• Providing customer service and answering payroll related queries

• Ad hoc HR administration duties

Your Profile

You will be an energetic, self-starter, who is innovative and process orientated to oversee the delivery of the day to day payroll and accounts administration. You will be a team player with a friendly 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' when needed. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Past experience using Chris21 is beneficial but our client will consider candidates who have used larger payroll systems.
