Are you a client-focused Junior or Intermediate Accountant looking for your next challenge? Tertiary-qualified with prior experience in a public practice accounting firm, you could be a Junior Accountant ready to take the next steps, or an Intermediate Accountant looking for a change of scenery. 

The Company

You will be joining a medium-sized accounting & financial services firm based in the Western suburbs, working in their Tax & Business Services team. Working primarily in the SME space, you will be dealing with clients from a variety of industries, with genuine opportunities to build your knowledge base and eventually move into a client facing role. Key Skills/Experience

• Tertiary-qualified, with a good academic record
• CPA/CA-qualifed or studying towards
• Previous public practice/professional services experience, preferrably working with SME clients
• Solid background in accounting and tax
• Strong client-service focus and good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork
• Exceptional technical skills in business services and taxation, compliance-focused

Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for all entity types
• Liaison with clients and stakeholders
• Business and tax advisory
• Ad hoc assistance with general accounting and administrative tasks
