- A Part-Time position available for 24 hours per week
- Inner West Melbourne Location
- Flexible start and finish times
This Part-Time role is located in our Tottenham head office, which is the base for our 90+ employees. You will be in a team of 4 with dedicated responsibilities and will be expected to support each other and assist where possible to achieve business critical tasks. Primary responsibilities include:
Accounts Payable
Managing the Accounts Payable processes:
- Creditor Management
- Supplier Management
- Purchase Order Management
- Banking and reconciliations and preparation of payment files
- Back up for Payroll and Accounts Receivable positions
Payroll Support + General Duties
- Auxiliary Fund Management Support
- Employee Liability Payments
- Manage and Track Employee Entitlements
- Employee Record Management
- Data Entry
Skills and Experience
- Proven previous experience in Accounts Payable
- Ability to work independently to solve issues
- Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and achieve results under pressure
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with internal and external employees, suppliers etc
- Advanced computer skills including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation would be an advantage
- A willingness to learn payroll, with the future objective to transition into this role
- You will enjoy autonomy in your role within a small hard-working team.
Financial and Accounting qualifications will be highly regarded, but not essential. Eagerness to learn new functions is essential, with a focus on team support and acceptance of new responsibilities.
