The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our dynamic national business.
Located in our Launceston office, this position is a full time, permanent role, offering the successful candidate unique career progression. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop a career Financial Services industry.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Support the technological change aspect of the business guiding clients with setups and training with the latest accounting and industry systems
- Maintain client accounting data in various software applications
- Reconciliation of client’s data
- Preparation of ATO Activity Statements
- Attend to payroll processes
- Calculating Fuel Tax Credit claims
- Providing support to the Client Services team
- Database entry and management, ensuring client details are maintained and up-to-date
- Working within a team environment, assisting others where appropriate
- Support to the administration team and duties as required

Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in bookkeeping
- Knowledge in bookkeeping/accounting systems (ie. Xero, MYOB, Reckon)
- Competent-Intermediate MS Office Suite Skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
