We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to work in our dynamic Motor Dealership.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing weekly payroll for approx 150+ employees
• Superannuation, PAYG and Payroll Tax payments
• Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations
• Creating and maintaining employee records from commencement of employment through to cessation
• Employment contracts & commencement processes

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent time management and organisational skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team and work autonomously with limited guidance
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Awareness of the confidential nature of payroll information and an ability to maintain the confidentiality of payroll data
• Ability to be flexible and manage pressure effectively
• Motor Industry experience (preferred)
• Unipay payroll system experience (preferred)
• HR practices management (would be an advantage)
