The Company

Our client is a dynamic resources organisation who has a range of interesting projects in the pipeline.   They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

About You

Having started or recently completed your CPA or CA qualification, you will be currently be working as an Assistant Accountant and looking for your next opportunity.   You will want to work as part of collaborative team where you can develop your skills while learning from experienced leaders and senior level stakeholders. You will either be immediately available or on a short notice period and be comfortable with taking up a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Role

This position is a varied Assistant Accountant role and will include:

• Supporting the accounting responsibilities in the finance division
• Assisting in month end processes and monthly and yearly reporting
• General ledger and bank reconciliations
• Assisting in the budget process and cash flow forecasting
• Ensure compliance of statutory accounts in regard to all relevant accounting standards and legislative requirements
• Update financial statements and Preparation of Balance sheet and Profit and Loss statements on a monthly basis
• Intercompany transactions with foreign currency
• Post daily and monthly journal entries
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in finalisation of monthly accounts
• Creating and maintenance of fixed asset register
• Assisting in the budget process and cash flow forecasting
