The Organisation
This company is an ASX listed mining company based on the outskirts of the CBD. This company has operations globally and a great pipeline of projects. Due to an encouraging 2018 and a restructure within the finance team a contract position has opened up to assist with the busy year end statutory accounts.
The Role
This is a 3-4 month contract working with the Head of Finance alongside a strong and high quality finance team. You will be responsible for annual statutory accounts, group consolidations and financial reports. You will also be responsible for:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of the monthly group consolidated P&L
- Preparation of quarterly reports
- Preparation of YearEnd financial statements for the group
- Group consolidations
- Liaise with auditors
- Mentor the Assistant Accountants
The Requirements
- You will be CA/CPA Qualified or equivalent
- Experience in big 4 or mid-tier audit with 2+ years post audit experience is highly beneficial
- Experience with group consolidations and statutory reporting is essential
- Available to start immediately
