This well established commercial landscaping business is recognised in the top 120 private companies in South Australia. Established in 2002, employing over 110 people and highly respected by it’s industry peers the company continues to be financially robust and buoyant.

Based in Largs North the business is founded on a strong value system and a “best on ground” work ethos. Currently they seek a like-minded, experienced accountant to join their growing team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this job is perfectly suited to applicants who enjoy a challenge, are willing to work autonomously and offers around 25 hours work per week.  

The successful applicant will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and administration tasks including:

• General Ledger and bank reconciliations
• Monthly budgeting and reporting
• Preparation of monthly financial statements
• Stock control
• Job costing/tracking
• Payroll
• Maintain asset register
• Month end and year end closure
• BAS preparation
• Journals, Accruals and Prepayments
• Support to Owners where required
• Liaise with external accountants

Requirements:

• Accounting qualification (diploma/Degree)
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Advance Excel, Microsoft Office skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude (hands on)
