Ranger Drilling is an Australian owned company delivering safe and productive drilling solutions for our customers across a wide range of drilling applications from Air Core, Grade Control, Reverse Circulation, small diameter water bores and geotechnical installations. Our outstanding reputation in the industry has awarded us contracts with major iron ore and gold operators throughout Western Australia.
We are actively seeking the services of a qualified, experienced Project Accountant to work with all parts of the business to provide accurate forecasting of operational costs. This permanent role, based in our Wangara offices, will support management by providing financial and accounting advice tp the organisation
What you will be doing
- Working with Operations and Maintenance to identify upcoming expenditure
- Tracks costs v budgets
- Work with tendering to accurately forecast project budgets
- Forecasting all entities 12 months
- Setting budgets and updating forecasts monthly
- Liaising with financiers and preparation of documents.
- Updating Asset Register and management of all Assets, PPSR Register
- Review of all Contract documentation for Clients, Suppliers, Employees & IT Providers
- Assisting GM with preparation of tenders, pricing & terms & conditions.
- Preparation of BAS etc & liaising with external accountants.
- Working with and supporting Finance team.
- Invoicing, Payroll, Matrixx

What we need from you
- Recognised Tertiary Qualification in Accounting
- Experience with MYOB
- Broad Financial experience ideally with a Mining Contractor
- Experience with Tendering
- Asset Management Experience
