We are looking for a strong intermediate accountant who is ready to be trained to become manager at fast growing accounting firm in Fortitude Valley. This is a permanent full-time role with uncapped upside potential.
Working directly with the firm's partner, you will take ownership for a broad range of clients with their compliance work and other value added services. You will also be in training junior staff.and reviewing their work when required.
The successful applicant needs to have following attributes:
- 2 years minimum full-time experience in Australian public accounting practice.
- Impeccable English verbal and written communication skills.
- High technical expertise in both accounting and tax.
- Well developed MYOB and Xero skills.
- Able to take client's file from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Keen in growing own career to the highest level in public accounting industry.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others.
- SMSF experience is desirable although not compulsory.
- Second language ability is preferred (Mandarin or Korean) although not compulsory.
- Willing to undertake business development and marketing activity where required.
- Willing to step up and train junior accountants.
