Our client is a very profitable and innovative residential builder across detached and medium density housing.
The successful incumbent must have a strong collaborative leadership style, highly analytical and ability to support and coach all areas of our business in their financial reporting, undertake analysis, identify issues and recognise opportunities for improvement.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the following:
- Monthly financial reporting.
- Ongoing reporting and metric analysis across the full spectrum of the business - performance gaps and root cause.
- Weekly cashflow forecasting.
- Budgeting and business planning.
- Business improvement and process improvement projects.
- Display home leases.
- Understand risk management and internal controls.
- Statutory reporting, tax returns and year-end financial audits.
Skills and Experience
- Accounting Qualification (CA preferred) is mandatory.
- Experience in the residential building or construction industry will be highly regarded.
- Highly proficient in cashflow forecasting and business metrics.
- Highly competent in advanced Microsoft excel.
- Ability to communicate strongly.
- Key business drivers, reporting and gap analysis to bring about transparency.
